i found a solution! right click the app and select "New Terminal at Folder" and type in "chmod -R 777 ." make sure to include the space before the period
Not sure if it's the *correct* way to do it, since it did cause some glitches, but copy-pasting the "Saves" folder from the previous version's folder into the folder of the new one did work for me.

Getting an error message talking to be what appears to be a vegetable dealer in the second area, the market one. Message reads:
"Failed to load
audio/se/bubblygrowl3-bitofair.ogg"
Unsure how to resolve this. Luckily, the autosave kept me from having to redo the whole save (even if it wouldn't have been much). Hopefully not a recurring issue.
Probably a bit late to this, but the audio file that's failing to load has a different name in the file directory than what's being called for in the game. You can just fix it by going to audio/se/ and deleting the first bit of the file.

I hope it's not offensive to mention the obvious SomeBullshit inspiration(which isn't a bad thing, it was an absolute diamond, there's a reason other people are also getting inspired by it)(And you're DO mention Nerds and Clinko in the description), and I was wondering what all fetishes will be included? SB had stuffing, mild weight gain, and optional vore.
The stuffing and weight gain is mentioned, but will there be any vore(optional or otherwise)? Any other belly-related fetishes?

Hmmm, I can't find the pouch with the bread in the menu, I hope you're able to add it somehow as I assume Autumn will be getting more food items giving her different abilities(a menu for showing WHAT abilities each food item gives as well might be too hard to program?).
I don't have an exact estimate for the time of the next release, yet. Currently, I've finished writing all of the dialogue for next update's main story quest, but there are things such as art, battles, and side quests that I still need to get to/finish.

Given his flashbacks and cementing of a hero mentality, 'Merc' is either the actual former hero removed and 'retired' from the party to be replaced with someone else, or in a more realistic outcome, a former member of the hero's party after a sour argument had them split up. It'd tie in quite effectively with Autumn's father and his affiliation, sparking more intrigue and personal goals from the both of them when it comes to the potential big confrontation. I've already got a theory or two about potential content in the next few chapters, including the ironic twist of Merc avoiding the hero's party, and le stranger eventually meeting up with the two and revealing where he left to. Cue internal discourse followed by a reveal of what kind of history merc and the hero had.
But once again, this is all intense speculation based on the patterns and plot contrivances of most other stories.

Very fun so far! Reminds me a lot of Some Bullshit, but it's got its own sense of humor and the (I assume) different abilities Autumn will get from eating different foods in battle is honestly an insanely cool idea!

Yes, older saves are compatible. However, there is no new content in this update beyond that point, and you still can't leave that room yet, sorry.
